There is a time of day on certain afternoons when the light is just so.
On certain afternoons, when the light is just so, and the sun is not quite setting, the sky is still a blue sky.
The sun is not quite setting, the sky is still a blue sky, and i stand transfixed.
Blue sky and i stand transfixed, both of us caught up in an ancient song.
An ancient song lilts through the leaves of treetops.
Through the leaves of treetops, it sways like a baton, calling lovingly upon the dreaming muses.
Dreaming muses upon remembering, and remembering upon loving.
And remembering upon loving, i long to be caught up.
Be caught up.
Caught up in treetops, an ancient song sways that spans across all time.
Spans across all time are anchored by that same blue sky.
That same blue sky takes me.
That same blue sky takes me home.
That same blue sky takes me home to every time there is.
Time there is.
There is a time of day, on certain afternoons, when the light is.
